We understand that being online is an integral part of children and young people's lives.  The internet and online technology provides opportunities for children and young people's learning and growth.  Social media, online games, websites and apps can be accessed through mobile phones, laptops, computers and tablets - all of which form an important part of children and young people's online world.  However, all of these can lead to exposure to new types of risks.

E-safety is a fundamental part of our safeguarding and child protection measures.  Below are some of our key legislation and guidance.

We are aware that many young people are currently playing games online, such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, PUBG, Minecraft, Among Us, etc...

Please watch the video on Fortnite Safety to give you some ideas of how to keep your children safe when playing games online. It is a light hearted, but informative song made by two young teachers.
