Rebound Therapy
What is Rebound Therapy?
Rebound therapy was founded by Eddy Anderson in 1972. The approach uses trampolines to provide opportunities for movement, therapeutic exercise and recreation for people across the whole spectrum of special needs. Our children have access to Rebound Therapy at different times around the year. If you would like your child to take part, you will need to fill in a consent and medical form to ensure it is safe to do so.
We are currently having access to Rebound Therapy from our friends at Jump Space.
Jump Space is a specialist centre offering Rebound Therapy, Trampolining and Sensory play. Their primary client group is people with disability and their families (they encourage siblings to take part as well). They do however welcome everyone with all of our classes being open to people with or without a disability. They provide a safe, fun, understanding and non-judgmental environment for disabled children and young people, many of whom, due to their impairments, are unable to access other forms of sport and activity. Their centre is fully accessible with hoist equipment available for the trampolines, ball pool, a sensory area and accessible toilet facility.
