CAMHS

For advice and support around behavioural issues please refer to your local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). There is a specialist service within CAMHS called the Clinical Service for Children with Disabilities which is based at the Carol Kendrick Centre on Southmoor Road near Wythenshawe Hospital. The team consists of specialist clinical psychologists and community learning disability nurses who have expertise in working with children with additional needs. The team offers individual and group work and sees families in clinic, at school and at home.’
